Master Chef Masayuki Komatsu holds court at an eleven-seat counter inspired by a Japanese minka farmhouse, deep in Little River. The nineteen-course kappo omakase opens with hay-smoked mackerel and vinegared sea bream before a long run of nigiri built on fish from Japan. Rare whiskies and sakes from sommelier Luis Martinez stretch the evening beautifully.
