Waldorf Astoria Miami Beach, the former W South Beach, is announced to reopen in winter 2027, though one outlet says late 2027, so the date is to be confirmed. The 20-story oceanfront tower holds 348 suites, a reimagined lobby and Peacock Alley, new culinary programming, spa upgrades and a pool deck with private cabanas. The owner is Reuben Brothers, with Hilton Waldorf Astoria. The W closed August 17, 2026.
